HALLOWEEN IN HELSINKI!
In the
midst of delightful news concerning the making of new songs,
we're
also happy to announce that Jyrki69 will be DJing in Helsinki
for Halloween!
Accompanied by Lucky Hell & Velvet Six, Jyrki will be spinning some
immortal tunes on Thursday, October 27th at Kokomo Tikibar & Room!
Also, we wish to sing a very belated Happy Birthday song to Archzie (Sept. 27th)

so, Archzie, next time you'll be getting that tune delivered directly to you!^^

NEW ALBUM TO APPEAR IN 2012!!!
While
autumn is reserved for heading to the studio, summer offers a bunch of
vampire
action (and we're not just talking about the new True Blood season) -
DJ
Jyrki69 is back in town, this time spinning records all over the globe!
Intrepid Fox in London saw the first devilish set on June 25th, and
two more dates follow:
July 9th @
Fangtasia @ 1135 Decatur, New Orleans, USA
July 16th @
Undead Dark Club, Barcelona, Spain
He has
also hosted his own Zombie Love Summer Club in June in Helsinki,
but the fun doesn't end there! DJ Jussi 69 hosted a couple of parties
in Amsterdam and
Kotka (Finland) - one more date awaits those
ready for some rock'n'roll fun:

Since we
can't get enough of either of the Eyes, you can get plenty more
of Jussi 69 by listening to his award-winning summer show on Radio Rock
with other Finnish rock stars. Listen to

to Friday 11am to 3pm. Friday still has that special night taste of corpse -
"Jussin Rokkibaari"
(Jussi's rockbar) runs 8pm to 10pm and reruns on Sundays.

Coconut Teaszers! Teaming up with Rane Raitsikka (hailing from
such bands as Smack and Hangmen), Jyrki will present the best rock'n'roll
bar band right now in Helsinki - on August 10th! We're digging it!

SWARM OF
NEWS FROM THE BOSNIAN 69 EYES CAVE!
Spring
has been in a full decadent swing, as Helsinki Vampires,
along
with their Swedish sleaze rock counterparts Crashdïet and
Hardcore
Superstars, have been touring around Europe and
bringing
a seducing mix of various rock anthems to European
vampires
en masse! The Bosnian batcave is bringing you photo galleries
from all
three shows in Italy and the last show of the tour in Stockholm!

Proving
once again his überhumanitarian nature, Jyrki 69
teamed
up with Tarja Turunen and recorded the title
"Underneath", from her latest album "What Lies Beneath", for UNICEF.
Here's
what Tarja had to say about this collaboration and goal:
"Underneath has a very important message. I wish it gives you courage,
strength
and comforts you when times are hard. I am delighted to sing
the song
with Jyrki whose voice gives a new depth to my song.
I deeply
hope that all my dear fans could take part with us and Unicef
in
helping people that really need it now. Thank you for being there."
Jyrki's

Jyrki tweets about the joys of making new songs (!), the dates
for the spring tour with Hardcore Superstar and
Crashdïet

The 69
Eyes rounded off the year 2010 with a spectacular
mini acoustic tour around Finland, while Jussi 69 also engaged with
Bam Margera in making a "Where The Fuck is Santa?" Xmas mayhem
in Bar Bäkkäri on Dec 20th in Helsinki, and Jyrki 69 DJ-ed in Stockholm
and on the radio in the past couple of months. Our fellows have
been very busy as always!
However,
that's not the end! Jyrki announced a European tour in spring,
along with writing the new album - these news will definitely
warm the hearts of all the fellow vampires around, and since the
Bosnian The 69 Eyes fans no longer need visas for European countries,
it is finally going to be possible to enjoy more gigs and true vampire freedom.
See you soon on the road in yet another year of the Helsinki Vampires!^^
